All about Swinging

I realize a lot of you don't know much about swinging, and a lot of you probably have questions. I also know from personal experience that some people just don't understand or believe that a couple who is totally committed to each other could turn around and have sex with other people without it effecting their relationship in some way.

Well, I am here to tell you it CAN be done, and is done everyday! There are couples who have been swinging for most of their married life and are still totally committed to each other and love each other more than ever. The mistake some couples, and people on the outside make is that having sex with others somehow ties into emotions and love. That is not true at all, sex and love are two totally different things.

Think about one night stands. If it weren't just sex, then all these one night stands would turn into married couples, or at least committed couples. Certainly there are those one night stands that might go that way, and others where only one of those involved is more serious than the other, but in most cases it's all about hormones, lust and sex.

A lot of couples will bring singles into their bedroom, and that is just fine, it is all an individual choice when it comes to swinging. Hubby and I have been about swinging, for years, and not once have we regretted getting into it, and not once have we fallen for someone else, either couple or single. We fell in love 15+ years ago, and it's gotten stronger over the years and it has nothing to do with the swinging, but all to do with our honesty and openness. If one is uncomfortable with something, then we both just back off.

about swinging, is a lifestyle, it is between consenting adults and shouldn't be thought of as something bad or nasty. Just because some people think it is wrong does not give them the right to tell swingers what they should or can do or not do. Anyone not happy with it can just stay out of it.

So what am I getting at. I guess everything and nothing. There have been clubs that were shut down because what was being done inside them was considered wrong, by who's standards? If all parties at the clubs are consenting adults, who has the right to say what they can or cannot do?

Thanks for letting me spout, it's something I rarely get to do!
